This week on our “Tackling Concussions” Episode we have the pleasure of having Chris Nowinski Co-Director, Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy, Boston University School of Medicine & Author of “Headgames :Footballs Concussion Crisis.” Chris is also the co-founder and president of the Sports Legacy Institute (SLI). Mr. Nowinski also serves on the National Football League Players Association Mackey/White TBI Research Committee and on the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of America. We also will be being joined by my colleague Neurosurgeon Dr. Bruce Grossinger host of ” Bruce the Sports Doc” on Voice America Sports to take some questions and the importance of Concussion education and some of the early signs. As well as welcoming back guest Dorsey Levens to discuss his Documentary “Bell Rung” which focuses on players and concussion stories.
